ER108 is a multi-channel laser particle counter sensor using optical scattering and sensing system. A laser diode (LD), a photodiode and proper air flow are arranged into this device to make it detect the reflected light of particles in the air. Especially, it is effective to detect very fine particle that with >0.3um diameter. In addition it can distinguish particle size and count them into 6 particle size categories, and convert the particle numbers into PM2.5 and PM10 values by proper calibration. The sensor has two types digital output, I2C or UART for easy use.
